The PS384Q Community Room is a dedicated space stocked with a food pantry, gently-used clothing, toys, books, hygiene supplies, and more. Our school relies on the generosity of our community to keep it stocked, ensuring every donation finds a family who needs it.

P.S. 384Q PTA committee participation is a wonderful way to connect with other families and contribute to your child's school experience! No prior experience necessary - we welcome your enthusiasm and ideas!

YEARBOOK COMMITTEE
The Yearbook Committee will create the P.S. 384Q - Hunters Point Elementary Yearbook, ensuring that our children and school community are represented in line with the school’s mission, vision and values. The yearbook is a celebration of all grades and activities at our school!
SERVICE PROJECTS COMMITTEE
The Service Projects Committee promotes community engagement through charity and service initiatives that support worthy causes, and provide valuable learning experiences for our students by fostering empathy, teamwork, and social responsibility.
EVENTS COMMITTEE
The Events Committee will plan and execute a diverse range of events throughout the school year. We hope to represent our vibrant community through our social events and create engaging and memorable experiences for our families.
5TH GRADE COMMITTEE
The 5th Grade Committee will help plan, organize and fundraise for events, activities and special programming for the 5th Grade Class. We hope to create a fun and memorable year for our graduating seniors!
BUSINESS FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
The Business Fundraising Committee will secure financial and in-kind donations from local businesses to support our school. Committee members will liaise with businesses to request donations, collect items, distribute tax acknowledgement letters, and strategize on broadening our school's network of corporate supporters.
Other volunteering opportunities…
There are numerous other opportunities to volunteer and get involved throughout the year. From Picture Day and service projects to the Scholastic Book Fair, chaperoning field trips, and helping with fundraisers - there are various ways to contribute and support our school community! Please stay tuned for notifications on these opportunities communicated through our WhatsApp community and Class Dojo.
